the last movie we watched last year was Red Cliff .that was like in May. it is kinda scary that we havent watch a movie for like 7 months?! my fault.
and… the first movie we watched this year was Red Cliff 2! two words to describe: absolutely fantastic.!
well, 2nd week of school tmr. this is going to be a hectic semester. grrrrrr

workload is getting heavier.
wed dont even feel like a public holiday when i had two project meetings and a tuition all at a go.
which now explains why i am not updating often.
we are meeting lesser and lesser too. hes busy, i am busy. BUT we are finallyyy meeting later at night 🙂 absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

it has been a rough week. in the earlier part of the week, i have been especially annoying and snappy to dearest. hahah.maybe it was all because of the two quizzes i had. i doubt thats the main reason. maybe it was all accumulated inside me that i just have to vent out any displeasure i have with mainly myself and poor dear has to suffer as a result. even when he said a joke, i took it dead serious. and the next moment, it was #$^&$*. HAH. but THANK GOD my mood has regained.sooo hello recess week! 🙂
to happier things.
last thursday, the 5566 had a belated birthday celebration for bh at double o. it was my longest school day that day, followed by tuition. i was dead shagged. the worst is the next day, i had class early in the morning @ 8.30AM and tuition again and project meeting in the evening. BURNT out.
but then it was FUN FUN FUN.because the birthday boy got drunk.HAHA. there were like 18shots, 3 jugs, 6 flaming and the 5566 shots shared among the six of us. and then the 5566 guys had waterfall or graveyard i think.so i guess that spells why they were drunk. jamesydearest was the most sane i guess 🙂 because he had the least of everything.he didnt really drink at all. one shot and a few sips of the jug.haha. he dont like nor can drink.so yeah. and his caiquan skills need to improve!HAHA

i dreamt that someone wanted to steal the cashcards in the car at night(its true in reality that we did receive warnings by the RC to be careful of such theft) and was discovered by me.
then the man threw a knife over to me, so that we can start a fight? i remembered so clearly that his was a chopper while mine? a fruit knife. and then i realised mine was FAKE!those knives people used for acting.
i woke up. what a weird dream.

i went HUH.
mum went again ” to make popiah for you today(because i have been craving for it.the traditional kind i ate when i was young.) , i whole day busy. from morning buy the ingredients from peoplepark la & ntuc la to preparing the home-made chilli and the 料 la. i am so tired.”
*touched by mum’s efforts*.
then she rushed off to make one for me. 🙂

How true is this quote.
21(close to) years of life. i have met new friends, made new friends, had new friends and bid goodbye to some. i have seen some friends change ( for either the good or bad) through the course of friendship we had. for the bad, i am starting to move away gradually.
i think i am really bad at mantaining friendships. time and distance proved to be strong barriers.excuses i know.
how many true friends are there who will always be there for you.? well, but, maybe as i was telling dearest, i am becoming wary of people. there are only that few whom i can say EVERYTHING out to.
face reality.
Families are the compass that guide us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.

the TONNES of readings are killing.i am very glad that the week has ended. because that means my 311 presentation has ended as well!:) two consecutive 8.30 classes are really making me shagged!
yesterday i went to maxwell food centre with my parents. we had hokkien mee, yong tau foo, sliced fish soup, claypot rice for two and tau suan! totally satisfying. i think thats how i relieve stress.lol.
and because days are sooo busy now, i finally met jamesydear yesterday! never meet him for almost a week.hugs.
14.08.2008 Thursday
we celebrated sister’s birthday at grandshanghai at grandcorpthorne. the food is really good.been there for quite a couple of times, so aint gonna return back there soon. after dinner,as if it wasnt enough, we went to buy durians! the whole family loves durians!hahaha.
NEXT.
on national day, we decided to meet up at night and headed to town. canele! jamesy is sooo greedy! we ordered two cakes( one hazelnut and cheesecake i think) plus macarons and a mushroom soup. in the end, me, the glutton, upon seeing how attractive they were looking,i couldnt wait a second and started eating.within secs, i had such a bad headache.sugar rush.
AND last friday, me being a KOREAN food lover, checked out reviews and through my friend’s recommendation, decided to try out togi restaurant at mosque street.
the BEST part is the KIMCHI ARE REFILLABLE!. so jamesy were piling on the ikan billis while me, the kimchis!haha.the service is really good and jamesydear enjoyed the food alot thou he dont really eat korean food. we know we are going to return there very soon again. !:)
